The author starting collecting cars in the early 1970's when there was very little interest in old cars. They were found in fields and sheds and were bought for very little money at the time. I spent long nights with my wife Joan working on them. The vehicles in our collection are not in concours condition, they are not trailered to shows to win prizes, they are in working order and driven regularly. The motor museum is based in Kilgarvan for visitors to come and view the cars.
